I started Fragment in the most simple way when exploring different ideas, shapes, colours and patterns. At this time I was inspired by the concepts of quantum physics, sacred geometry and space. For me, science and art are interconnected, as both explore the diversity and abundance of life.

I started sketching on paper using different mediums such as pastels, pen and pencil.
T h e B a c k G r o u n d
During the creative process of Fragments, I was inspired by night sky photography which became a feature of my work. I am fascinated by this infinite space that we live in. While editing the night sky photography, I thought it would merge well with my Fragment illustrations. I then used the pictures on the right side and superimposed the two images.
